On the last Food Network Challenge it was a extreme candy contest but this weeks contest is Ice Age Cakes as the four cake artists go prehistoric in this challenge. The four contestants have to make cakes about the trials and triumphs as well the friendship of Manny The Mammoth and his friend from the movie Ice Age. The winner of this contest will win a $10,000 prize as well as a gold medal.

On tonights episode the challenger is the executive of the US Embassy in Paris, Phillippe Excoffier. This chef should be used to cooking under pressure but how will he do in kitchen stadium. The Iron Chef he has to go up against is Bobby Flay and his south western style of cooking in this battle. This battle should be an interesting contrast in styles as the Parisian tries to take down the kind of southwestern spices.

On tonights episode of The Next Food Network Star the remaining eight finalists meet Tyler Florence who tells them they must shop for a family dinner and menu plan; He also tells them that they must have money saving tips during their presentation to the camera. The next day the finalists are off to the Hamptons to the Ina Garten where they will be working as teams to plan menus and create lavish meals to Ina and her friends; After the dinner the next contestant will be eliminated. This show is interesting to watch because the winner has the potential to be a big star on the network or maybe there show will be just seen briefly and, never be heard from again but the chance for fame and fortune is there.

Tonight on the Food Network is another Food Network Challenge with this episode called "Extreme Candy Carnivals." The winner of this challenge wins $10,000 plus a gold medal as four pastry chefs compete as they build a carnival made out of candy. The items they can use to build their creations are chocolate, homemade candy and sugar. I don't know why but i enjoy these contests maybe its just watching the contestants try to move there creations to the judging table in one piece.

This series is like the Energizer Bunny it keeps going and going and has been a staple of FOX for years. On tonights episode of Cops: Coast To Coast we start off in Harris County, Texas for a domestic violence call which is anything but the usual; It turns in to a high speed chase and ends with a sore loser. Next up the show heads further west to Rancho Cucamonga, California where two detectives provide back up after two neighbors get in a fight. Finally we have Las Vegas, Nevada cops as they are called to detain shop lifters who are caught red handed.

On tonights episode of Mental a 8 year old bipolar boy is admitted to Wharton Memorial after an accident with a knife. The boys life is consumed by a video game her plays in his head but it turns out the accident is really a suicide attempt. Jack (Chris Vance) must then get inside the boys head and see what triggers his rage and this behavior. If that isn't enough Jack also searches the streets of LA for his mentally ill sister. Meanwhile Nora is dealing with her teenage daughter who has posted naughty pictures of herself on the internet in this encore episode called "Manic At The Disco."
