America’s Next Great Restaurant Comes To NBC

An interesting new reality series called “America’s Next Great Restaurant” is set to premiere on NBC on March 6th at 8pm right before the premiere of “The Celebrity Apprentice.” On this new show the contestants from different walks of life compete to see their original restaurant concept come to life. The restaurant chain concept will then spring to live in three different cities, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and New York. The four investors/judges for the restaurants are “Iron Chef America” Iron Chef Bobby Flay and television chef Curtis Stone from “The Biggest Loser” as well as Chipotle founder Steve Ells and Lorena Garcia and executive chef and restaurateur. This four not only serve as investors they also will mentor the competitors who they will be working with to further develop their concepts. Each week the contestants will be put through rigorous business and cooking challenges to determine which idea has what it takes to be “America’s Next Great Restaurant. After a nationwide search the top 21 competitors will present their restaurant concepts to the investors. The number will be quickly reduced to the top ten concepts that will compete over the season. This leads up to the season finale where the winning contestant will get to launch his/her own restaurant chain.
