The Hoff To Join "Britain's Got Talent"

David Hasselhoff best known for playing Michael Knight on NBC's "Knightrider" show in the eighties as well as on "Baywatch" is heading to the UK to host "Britain's Got Talent." David Hasselhoff has had many personal issues over the last few years that have become very public so its good to see him bounce back. Recently his reality show was cancelled after just a few episodes so it good to see him get another gig so soon. David Hasselhoff has hosted the US version of this show which is on NBC before with Piers Morgan among others. David will join current hosts Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden as well as newcomer to the show comedian Michael Mcintrye. "Britain's Got Talent" does well for ITV1 and its final attracted an average of 12.3 million viewers the grand prize for the winner is a spot on the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen.

Susan Boyle To Guest On US Show?

The Sun newspaper in England is reporting that Britains Got Talent runner up and, You Tube star Susan Boyle is going to guest star on Ugly Betty on ABC. This follows up recent reports that Susan Boyle would be on the season finale of America's Got Talent which would make sense but hasn't been confirmed yet. A spokesman for Susan Boyle has said that "Susan has many offers on the table at the moment" which isn't a denial but im sure its true that many US shows would want her on. Previous famous guest stars on Ugly Betty include Lindsey Lohan, James Van Der Beek, Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham.

Simon Cowell Admits He Made A Mistake

Britains Got Talent producer Simon Cowell has admitted in a op-ed piece in a London newspaper that him and his fellow producers didn't handle the Susan Boyle situation as well as they could have. Susan Boyle was thrown in to the world wide spotlight after the plain looking Scotish women had an amazing performance on the show and, became an overnight sensation on You Tube across the world. Right before the finals there was stories that Susan Boyle wouldn't perform on the finale because of stress but she did perform and was runner up to a dance group. Right after the finals Susan Boyle checked herself in to a medical clinic and there was rumors she wouldn't perform on the Britains Got Talent tour, she is performing but not on all the dates of the show. Simons comment is right before the US version called America's Got Talent starts this week with Susan Boyle being used in the NBC commercials promoting the show. On a reality talent show such as these there is always the risk that one of the contestants will crack under the pressure but hopefully after this incident the producers of these shows will be more on the look out for trouble.

Worldwide Sensation Susan Boyle Admitted To Clinic

News reports out of England are staying that "Britains Got Talent" runner up Susan Boyle is in hospital for exhaustion. Susan Boyle became an internet sensation around the world after this frumpy looking lady from Scotland surprised the audience of the show by singing like an angel. Earlier there was reports that she was quitting and wouldnt be i the finals but she decided to stay but then was beaten in a surprise upset by dance group Diversity. Whatever the situation i hope Susan Boyle gets better, when she does get better she alredy has a record deal and a tour of the United States so i wish her luck.
